Privacy notice

This page explains, in plain English, what Dream Harbor does with the data of people who contact us through the website or Instagram, and of people who browse these pages. It's a translation of our privacy notice in Portuguese. If anything is unclear, write to dreamharboragency@gmail.com.

Who is responsible for your data

What we collect

• The assessment form (on the Portuguese pages /diagnostico and /aplicar). Name, WhatsApp number and/or email, business name, your multiple-choice answers about your operation, the tools your business uses today if you choose to select them, and anything you write in the open question.
• Instagram DMs (@dreamharboragency). The content of your messages and your account's public identifier, which is what we need to reply in the same conversation and remember where you left off.
• Protection against automated submissions. To keep bots from using the form, we record a technical identifier of the connection that sent it for a few minutes, and nothing else.
• Usage analytics, only if you accept. See the section on analytics and cookies.

How we use it

To understand whether and how Dream Harbor can help your business, and to reply to you. That includes logging the contact in our internal CRM (Notion), receiving an internal alert when an assessment comes in, and the automated reply in Instagram DMs when a message contains the word ‘diagnóstico’. Form answers are scored on our server to organise the order in which we respond. They aren't used for any other automated decision about you.

Who we share it with

We don't sell, rent or pass on your data. We use infrastructure services so the website and our replies work, each under its own privacy policy. Those are Netlify (hosting), Notion (CRM), Meta (Instagram and, if you accept, the Pixel), Google (Analytics, if you accept) and Telegram (internal alerts for new contacts).

Analytics and cookies

This website uses two analytics services. Google Analytics, to understand how people arrive and move around the site, and the Meta Pixel, to know whether one of our ads brought someone here and to show ads to people who have visited. Both store cookies in your browser.

They only switch on if you accept in the privacy bar that appears on your first visit. If you reject them, neither one is loaded and the site works the same. Your choice is saved in your browser, and you can change it at any time with the ‘Cookie settings’ link in the footer.

Once accepted, they record pages viewed and actions such as clicking a button or completing the assessment. The content of your answers is never sent to them.

How long we keep it

Contact and assessment data is kept for as long as the business conversation lasts, and for as long as needed to meet any legal or tax obligation. You can ask us to delete it at any time.

Your rights

Under Brazil's General Data Protection Law (LGPD, Law No. 13,709/2018), you can ask us to confirm that we process your data, to give you access to it, to correct anything that's wrong and to delete it completely. Just write to dreamharboragency@gmail.com.

Changes to this policy

When the website starts collecting something new or using another tool, this page changes with it, and the date at the top is updated. The website's terms and conditions are at /en-gb/terms.
