Services · Positioning and SEO

Before customers compare prices, they compare clarity.

When two businesses look the same, the decision comes down to price. Positioning means organising what you do, who it's for and why you, in a way customers get quickly and Google can find.

The problem

How a good business loses value along the way

It's almost never a lack of skill. It's skill that's poorly explained. The edge is real, but it only shows up once someone is already in a conversation, and by then plenty of people have given up or gone with the competitor who explained themselves better.

Ring any bells?

  • Customers ask about price before they understand the service
  • You're great at one thing and present yourself as if you do everything
  • Your edge is real, but it only shows up in conversation
  • People searching Google for what you do find your competitor
  • Your brand looks different on every channel

What changes

What clear positioning puts in order

  • One sentence that explains what you do, and that your team can repeat
  • Services ranked by priority, not a list where everything weighs the same
  • Differentiators you can back up with real projects and proof
  • A presence on Google for the searches customers actually make

What's included

What we organise here

  • Understanding your business

What you do best, who it's for and what customers weigh when they choose.

  • Core message

The sentence and arguments that open your company's story, on any channel.

  • Service order

What comes first, what plays a supporting role and what doesn't need to show up at all.

  • Proof

Real projects, methods and facts that back up the choice, shown in the right place.

  • Page copy

Your message applied to your website, your profile and your materials, in one voice.

  • Organic search

Research into what customers type, pages built for those searches and tracking through Search Console.

Scope, no small print

Where each service ends

Positioning

We shape your message so visitors understand what you do, who you serve and what backs up their choice.

  • Understanding the business and audience
  • Sales priorities
  • Service hierarchy
  • Differentiators you can prove
  • How projects and proof are presented

Here, positioning means a clear offer and perceived value. Brand identity and logo design are a separate project.

SEO

Content and structure that help search engines and people understand your services and why your business is relevant.

  • Search intent research
  • Services and areas you actually serve
  • Titles and descriptions
  • Useful content
  • Technical structure and internal links

We don't publish copycat pages that just swap the city name. Technical setup at launch and ongoing growth are separate scopes.

How we approach it

Clarity comes before looks

A beautiful page with a confusing message is still confusing. We start with what needs to be clear, and the design is there to support it. The right online presence doesn't need to be loud. It needs to be clear, strong and useful.

We also don't promise what can't be guaranteed. No one controls the top spot on Google. What we can do is organise your content and presence so your business is understood and found by people looking for what you do.

From who you are to what customers understand

  1. Listen

Your business, your customer and how the decision gets made.

  2. Choose

The core message and what gets left out.

  3. Order

Services, proof and the path to getting in touch.

  4. Apply

Website, Google profile and materials, in one voice.

  5. Track

What people search for and what they find.

Tools we've already used on this sort of project. We pick them once we understand the problem, not before.

  • Google Search Console
  • Google Analytics 4
  • Google Places

When it makes sense

This isn't the answer to every problem.

Telling you when it isn't right for you is part of the job. Sometimes the answer is something else, and sometimes it's leaving well alone.

It's worth it when

  • You compete with a lot of businesses that look alike
  • Your prices are high and customers do a lot of research before deciding
  • Your business changed, grew or added a service, and your messaging fell behind
  • People who know your work rave about it, but people who don't, don't get it

It isn't worth it when

  • You don't know yet what you want to sell. The business decision comes first, then the messaging
  • What you need is a brand identity from scratch, which is a different kind of project
  • You expect to rank first on Google within a few weeks

Frequently asked questions

Is positioning the same as a logo and visual identity?

No. Here, positioning means a clear offer, the message and the order in which your business presents itself. Brand identity and logo design are a separate project.

Can you guarantee the top spot on Google?

No. We work on structure, content and presence to improve how your business is understood and how visible it is, and we track the data available. Rankings depend on many factors and can't be guaranteed.

Does this work for a business that serves one area?

Yes, and that's often where it makes the biggest difference. Local search has fewer well-presented competitors, and your Google Business Profile carries a lot of weight there.

Do I need to rebuild my website?

Not always. Sometimes the site holds up and what changes is the copy and the order of the sections. When the structure keeps your message from coming through, we'll say so before proposing anything.
